Without a Travel Agent you're on your own!

Agents still preferred

Two recent surveys in New Zealand and Australia show that agents are still preferred to booking direct. Sixty five per cent of Australian travellers who research their holiday online end up booking through a travel agent, new research has found.

A study of Australian leisure travel trends by Google found that while most will research online travel agents are still an important part of the booking process.
Over 50 per cent consulted a travel agent prior to booking their last international trip compared to just 15 per cent of domestic travellers.

Here in New Zealand the MasterCard Worldwide Index of Travel revealed that 71.8% of those surveyed used a travel agent as a source of information when deciding where to go for a trip, with 66.1% using the internet.
